Remember a year ago when Drake fans set an imaginary deadline for Meek to respond to Back To Back??

Dont ask me those rhetorical questions. The fact remains that I have heard Wu Tang forever and there are some bars on it that are solid for example. The bottom line is he does write for Drake and that is evidenced by his... Writing credits. We saw what a drake writing credit means for someone like QM. The benefit of the doubt is not with drake in this case and you know that but you choose to be incredulous. There is litterally nothing to suggedt that Drake writes anything... I give him the benefit of the doubt that he writes some things but to indicate as you have that he isnt using ghostwriters? Not even Drake himself has denied that.

Drake does not respond to losers on the internet that don't fukk with him, have you forgot that he's one of the biggest dudes in entertainment :what:. And he can't answer the question either, how is gonna look to Universal Motown, use your damn brain kid.

The difference between me and you is that I don't feel anything about these rappers. You dudes have listened to Drake's three latest albums more than I have, and I'm supposed to be the fan here. I'm objective with my analysis of these entertainers. According to your analysis he was also an engineer then. Engineering and writing Drake's projects, when you can't engineer, never engineered after or before that and can't write, interesting :leon:

According to my analysis he was writing then, bossed up and renegotiated with Drake and got a a greater role and a bigger paycheck... Which is why dude look like his paper is correct. And another thing is... In his iwn Fader interview he addressed it and didnt even give any type of answer. He said it is what it is. Even 40 said drake is more than a rapper when the allegations came to light.

I listened to Drakes last 3 albums because I listen to new music to see whats up. I actually loved the one he did with QM that shyt is and was dope but youre the one creating fan fiction about how dude x or Y is a weed carrier, and how QM was just a one off when actually, logically that is not the correct assumption. If you cacth a body on the low, and the feds find the body, theyre gonna look for more bodies and not assume the one body is a one off.

Why'd you have a problem with me calling out people pretending to be black, or grown men pretending to be women....I dunno. Because that's a decent chunk of his fan base on here.

Maybe that's how you get down though. Can't say I'm familiar enough with your posts to know either way. :manny:

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Drake came from being a complete nobody to getting to meet Wayne, Wayne gave him two verses which he recorded in his bus while he was on tour.

Drake wasn't featured on a damn tour, Wayne's managers also Jay-z's former head people made it happen he was signed to them + Waynes main man, Birdman and Slim weren't even really involved at this point as you mention Wayne wasn't making those type of moves. Dude had some of the deepest mana

I know of deals where people are signed far before it's announced, Wiz Khalifa was signed to Warner Bros flopped and then "signed" to a company Warner owns, Atlantic. It's not like a I don't believe that it doesn't happen, it's that it doesn't make any sense for some of the biggest CEOs and competitors in the whole industry to come together to commit fraud, for an untested, unsigned, young black dude with zero hits, zero anything. There's also several factors explaining his connection to Wayne, there's several factors explaining Wayne as a person, and on.
See. You're wrong.

And again. I don't know if I'm right about him being signed. I don't have cold hard facts. But let's just go through his career

I will just post everything that makes zero sense for an unsigned guy to be doing

In 2006, Drake self-released his first mixtape Room for Improvement. The mixtape features artists Trey Songz and Lupe Fiasco.

Ok maybe he used some degrassi money and got features

In 2007, he released another mixtape, Comeback Season, spawning a single and a music video for "Replacement Girl" featuring Trey Songz. Also in 2007, Drake became the first unsigned Canadian rapper to have his music video featured on BET when his first single, "Replacement Girl" was featured as the "New Joint of the Day" on April 30, 2007.[36]

A completely unsigned artist getting a video played on bet. Not only is he not hot in his own country. He's not even hot or known in America but has a video premiere on bet. Ok let's say he knows somebody

In 2008, Lil Wayne was given some of Drake's music from Rap-A-Lot founder, J. Prince's son, Jas Prince, and he immediately called Drake to invite him to fly to Houston and tour with him. Drake and Wayne recorded a couple of songs during this time, including "Ransom", the original version of "I Want This Forever", and the remix to Drake's song, "Brand New". Though now part of Lil Wayne's crew, Young Money, Drake was not signed.

Not a show. But a tour. The hottest rapper at the time in the game. Fresh off doing a few milly. Is calling a nikka to do 3 tracks, making him official crew, and putting him on his tour. But signs NO paperwork. Ok

On February 13, 2009, Drake released his third official mixtape, So Far Gone, for free download on his blog site, which included Drake's mentor Lil Wayne, Bun B, Omarion, Lloyd and his friend, Trey Songz. It received over 2,000 downloads in the first 2 hours of release. It was extremely successful in the underground and eventually made its way to radio. Due to the success of the mixtape's two singles, "Best I Ever Had" and "Successful", it was released as an EP featuring only five songs from the mix tape and one new song. MTV named it "The Hottest Mixtape of 2009 (So Far)".

Still completely unsigned with no deal, but has paper to get all these features and still paper to release the shyt for zero dollars. Then drops it as an album. But has no label to put that album out. And still makes it to mtv. Number 1 mixtape of the year. As an unsigned artist. With no deal?

On the Billboard Hot 100 chart of July 4, 2009, both "Best I Ever Had", and "Every Girl" by Young Money Entertainment entered the top ten at positions 3 and 10 respectively. On June 29, 2009, it was confirmed, that Drake signed a record deal with Young Money Entertainment.[40]

Now finally he signs a deal and 5 days later he's now on billboard with two tracks in the top 5 :mjlol:

Come on breh. You are unsigned and making top 5 hits, touring with Wayne, part of young money crew, and all over bet and mtv...... What the fukk you need a label for??? You already famous. You should be super rich cause you got your publishing and writing checks and selling your music with ZERO labels getting any cuts of the profit

But he then turns and signs a damn 5-6-7 album deal with an imprint label???

Again. You could be right. But that math ain't adding up right :yeshrug:

Last time I explain this for you dudes that haven't been following the record industry, Drake and don't know people.

1. Lupe wasn't featured on his tape, he remixed Kick Push.
2. Trey Songz was up and coming in 2006, they've been friends ever since that. There's different theories, one is natural friendship through mutual friends the other is VA connection through the other person featured on the tape Nicklaus F. You don't need the power of Universal to get a young up and coming dude who hasn't moved any units to collaborate with you.
3. Drake has some of the deepest managers in the game who he was connected to through Jas, who managed Lil Wanye thereof WAYNE and BUN-B features. Which is also where the Kanye connection came from for TML. Lloyd was closely connected to Lil Wayne and his management.

Omarion, I'm not sure about that, I know YMCMB tried to sign him and that he was very close to signing in 08-09. after the whole Bow Wow thing.

This is my last post on this subject, it's hard to discuss shyt with people who get their info from wikipedia and randomly guessing based on that to fit their opinion. Cats who haven't really been following the people we're discussing.

If not then Meek lost the 'rap beef' even though Drake was the first to respond?? Dudes literally had the first page on The Booth flooded with this shyt.

Fast forward a year, they on that quiet shyt, trying really hard to ignore the impact of Budden's diss track.

I mean, how phony are these clowns??? :laff:

Where is @SirBiatch with his novel long posts talking about how Drake needs to respond back in 3 days or he lost like he did for Meek last year?? :mjlol:

Where all the memes, Drake fans? :sas2:

when you become the aggressor in the situation, especially one you didn't start then you can start to dictate.
and when the follow up record is better than the first its ramps up a little pressure on the person..their foot is on your neck.

Meek got backed into a corner and dropped a dud.
his other records when he went at him on his own were good but Drake was already on the victory lap.

and there was more at stake in the Meek/Drake shyt.....this one, not so much.

Budden has nothing to lose...as he says, he's free.
he gets to vent and gets some attention for his project with araabmuzik.

if he wants to keep putting pressure on Drake, keep it going b.
do what you have to do to make him respond.

Drake can ignore it, leaving Joe looking like he's howling at the moon or respond and give Joe that little bite he wants from him.

he'll send a couple bars at Joe subliminally, Joe will break it down on his podcast with his usual caveats he has for Drake
"this kid's smart maaaaaan!" then make a point or a veil threat....TALKING...LIKE...THIS!.

diss him again, then put his project with araabMuzik out.
he might even get some "press pack" tickets for Ovo weekend

Drake continues being Drake.

both of them will most likely come out of it with people thinking the exact same of them.
and outside of some fans arguing the majority of people will be
