So Brady gets credit for this?:beli:

Btw how do you lames explain Mat Cassel? did you forget that he never started a game since high school? yet he walks in the nfl and wins 11 games.

.

What does that mean?

Cassel's success takes away from bradys achievments??

You want to play that game??

Tim tebow went 7-4 as a regular season starter for the broncos

Tim tebow brought the broncos to the exact same spot peyton manning did, the 2nd rd of the playoffs.

Tim tebow won more playoff games as a bronco than peyton manning.

Tim tebow is a million times worse than matt cassel

You see what i did there?

So what. He's played in a Super bowl since then

I'm still waitin for nikkas to tell me WHY AND HOW Peyton is better instead of just tellin me Brady's shortcomings. I'm aware of them already. Stop retry long me over and over

I can still somewhat understand people having Peyton as a better QB (making average guys look great), but in no way does Brady fold under pressure and expectations as much as Peyton.

Gotta love sports fan and their vague outlook on things. Absolutely no sense of context anywhere in this post :blessed:

The Matt Cassel situation is incredibly easy to explain. Lets see...

-inherited the greatest offense of all time and put up game manager numbers
-First time in Brady/Belichick era where they missed the playoffs
-they had the EASIEST strength of schedule in the entire league

Taking that into account, let's focus on Cassel. 23 touchdowns/11 interceptions playing with personnel that broke all time records just the season before. Not to mention the offense was dumbed down incredibly. I believe only an 1/8 of the full play book was given to Cassel. Cassel was bottom third of the league in passes that traveled more than 10 yards in the air. He was the most sacked quarterback in the league that season (with the same exact offensive line y'all claim is rather godly).

Now whilst sayin all of that Cassel was still pretty good even tho his pretty good was very very short lived. This is evidenced by his Pro Bowl nomination while with the Chiefs. I believe his stats were like 27 touchdowns to 8 interceptions. Just cuz he's trash now doesn't mean he was always trash. It's like jake Delhomme all over again. Jake Delhomme wasn't always trash

Lol at u bringing up Brady winning less games the following year. Breh, he was outta football for a year, still recovering from an injury that ends some players' career :why:

I dont hear that excuse for Peyton this year :skip:

Tbf, they're both amazing at making average guys looks elite. See Deion Branch, Donte Stallworth, David Givens, etc for Brady

Making average guys look great?

We talking about the same peyton manning here?

The peyton manning im talking about played with marvin harrison, reggie wayne, marshall faulk, edgerin james, and demaryius thomas.

Brady played with david givens, david patten, troy brown, deion branch, wes welker and randy moss.

Whose the best rb tom had?? An old corey dillon? Antwan smith?

Brady makes average guys like wes welker look amazing. Deion branch got a huge contract bwith seattle and did nothing!! David givens got a huge contractbfor tenneseee. These guys could not produce anywhere .... Teams realized they sucked, they were just eating off brady.

We talking about the same 2 guys here??

2012 Broncos: 4th easiest schedule in the league

He was giftwrapped 6 wins in his division alone. The other 3 teams in his division are picking in the top 11 in this years drafts. Two of those teams are picking top 3

So What? Your fact was wrong is what. The same Jets one and done the Pats and the MVP at Foxboro. But clearly you ignored it and bring up the Jets bringing the Colts. Got no problem with Brady being better. But you look ridiculous with your blatant Manning slander.

I don't think any of those guys, while good with NE, were "great". They were talented though. I just look at guys like Stokely and shyt, who aren't even on the level of a Branch, Stallworth and were killing it with Peyton.

I'm not disputing the GREAT players Peyton had to work with on offense. And Wes Welker was good in Miami if you watched some of their games. Pair him with Tom and their system and he's All Pro.

When Tom got great players to work with, he beasted, but as weird as it is, in a way they've become what the Colts used to be with Peyton.

:whoa:

I meant more that a guy like Stokely isn't as talented IMO as a Branch, Givens so for him to perform the way he did with Peyton was a testament.

Obviously a Harvin Marrison and Wayne are/were good.

Minus his 2004 season, Stokley's #'s as a third string/slot receiver aren't significantly better than other third string/slot receiver #'s on other teams with top 10 qb's

In other words, Manning's impact on average receivers like Stokley is overstated. He's not turning dirt into gold no more than a Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Romo, Eli, etc
