Any one remember when coconut music stopped putting on display one album and preview of each track to finally letting you listen to the entire song.... and every album available in the store. It was too late tho since Napster crushed the buildings:banderas:
I'll give them credit for trying.

In Atlanta they used to have these stores called Media Play when I first moved here. They had listening stations too but you could also trade in CDs, movies and video games towards new ones on a gift card. They also had the magazines, comics, and collectibles. Thought I was in heaven :blessed:

Yeah those were the days. Virgin Records Mega Store used to be one by me, Tower Records, Warehouse Music, a Blockbuster Music that wasn't open for too long but had stations on deck where you can take any CD and go listen, Sam Goody in the mall, was at those spots a lot growing up :whew:

Amoeba did reopen in a new location in LA, it's the closest thing to that, haven't been to the new location yet

Going to Barnes And Noble to listen to entire albums...
:mjcry:

Getting self conscious at people seeing how long you were at the booth, thus resulting in you leaving after a few tracks to pretend to browse the book section...only to return to listen to the rest of the album when no one was looking.

There was nothing like going to the Wiz after school and listening to the newest music every Tuesday :wow: before the Wiz closed the last album I heard from the CD listening station was that Gang Starr Full Clip :wow:
