Co-sign madden has a huge percentage of hardcore offline franchise gamers like me. I can't remember that last time i played online in Madden.
Remember how Madden on Genesis showed highlights from other games...

damn that presentation was GOAT for football games. I been complaining about Madden for the longest, but they have that NFL exclusive license.
And they haven't done shyt with it.

I mean, that's the only reason I buy Madden and NCAA, I simulate and play free agency/recruiting more than I play the actual fukking game. Once College got canceled. sheeeit I ain't bought madden since.
My nephews could careless about anything but being able to shoot threes & dunks.
My older cuz & Uncle buy Madden just for play now.
Too many people I kno just don't even use majority of these features. They be shocked when I tell them certain things about Madden or 2k. Just go online in any of these games it's a straight cheese fest. Or cats quiting all the time. That's the majority. And those dudes could care less about Chris Berman. They too impatient.

over NCAA getting canned. I doubt will ever get another college football game, because of the ongoing legal issues. Madden definitely has improved, but the presentation in NFL 2K5 is just godly

I agree. and I'm not saying that's true. but if it's in the game it should be in the game. All sports games should look like they look and operate on TV.
I would say those casual gamers, only represent maybe 30% of people who buy Madden. Madden has a huge fanbase of hardcore fans.

Online franchise is actually being promoted more than offline these days, online comes wit all the perks of offline and some extras like controlling your league on a phone, tablet or computerIt just would be a waste of time for developers. Just like how online franchises are getting phased out. Majority/casuals of the fan base don't care about it and would just skip it. Or they would complain like they did with the cutscenes in 2k14 not being able to be skipped. Us hardcore gamers would kill for this, but we are outnumbered

No way half play online on a consistent basis. Maybe once or twice and then their done with it. Out of all the people I kno my cuz is the only one that plays online Franchise.
