Man, I was using dial up as recent as 2009, then finally upgraded to broadband. I remember using Napster once for one song, my primary programs were Morpheus, Bearshare, and Kazaa. Downloaded a lot music, movies, game stuff. Large files I would wait till night so I could leave them downloading while I slept, and no one would bother with the phone because they were in the bed. There were times though where the bandwidth would just fukk up and the DL would stall. I would wake up so excited only to see the DL had timed out. Pissed me off so bad.

I also remember the early days of Steam. Had to update Half-Life 2 just to play offline. shyt took me about a week to finish :wow:

The yahoo chatrooms, the booters, Morpheus, Kazaa, Limewire, WinMX, mIRC, AOL Instant Messenger, the WWF Chatrooms, the ZoneAlarm firewall, the blackice firewall, having to leave the computer on all night to finish a download, the windows blue screen of death, the game emulators and roms, all that was :blessed: in those days.

Downloading One Mic and hearing that damn barking dog over and over again. Every time I listen to One Mic and I don't hear the dog it always throws me off :lupe:

Those memories brehs :banderas::banderas::banderas:

Here to download a .mp3 was way slower. I remember that some downloads were, like, more than one day to be finished.
