lmao, yall some real foodies.
i dont even remember what was had in the cafeteria or how good it was, but i do remember when they brought in a salad bar in middle school :wow:

that must've been when my love for salads began :ohlawd:

after that we could leave campus so it was gas station/wal mart food. occasional chicken sandwich or pizza from the caf

I went to Catholic school from 1st to 8th grade.

The only things on our menu was:

Rectangle pizza
French toast sticks
Pork roll
Chicken patty
Steak umm
Burger or hotdog
Mac and cheese
Meatball sub
Spaghetti and meatballs
PB&J

We didn’t have tacos and nachos and roast turkey

:mjtf:

My mom only did one day as cafeteria mom. They put her behind the counter on the snack line. She had no idea how much everything was because it wasn’t all in the price list. She was asking kids how much stuff was, and just listening to them.

Once a month they would have popcorn shrimp. This was when schools didn't give a damn about allergens. Folks parents would make all types of stuff for class party day.

Now you can't bring anything in unless it's allergen free straight from the store.

It was a different era, bruh. :wow:

I remember those class party days. :wow: A young nikka was gettin' his ass whooped by them fractions. It would be a blessing to hear "Let's put away our books and get ready to wish ****** a happy birthday...except you, Brian. Go sit next door in Mrs. Johnson's class. :camby:" :mjlit::jawalrus::blessed:
