I thought this was no bueno even then. Like who freestyles off a cell phone? This was well known but no one seemed bothered by it. Like, who does this? But no one cared. I found it odd. But people gave him a pass and that was that. He could have been ended right there. Even pre social media Drake's cellphone "freestyle" was well known. From 2006 to about 2010 I thought Drake was corny but after that I could deny him no longer.
