How pathetic

That was a case of rhythm vs content. This is who they claim is the GOAT
Jay & Silent Bob spit better freestyle than him

Fixed.I remember this as an actual blow to his brand at the time. Something in the level of that boy who got punched by that girl, Charles hamilton
Eventually, he let the writers/publicists/hype train/stans do the talking...
His rhyming words were hitting the snare.yo i aint even a kendrick hater but his freestyle was cappadonna-tierdidn't fit the beat at all imo and had me not even knowing how to nod my head to it
j cole probably had the best freestyle outta the three but his flow wasthank god their music isnt as bad as these freestyles.
and you wont ever see one. Hell rappers he collab with has never seen him work in the studio lolThe unintentional comedy.....
Haven't seen a live Drake freestyle since![]()
I thought this was no bueno even then. Like who freestyles off a cell phone? This was well known but no one seemed bothered by it. Like, who does this? But no one cared. I found it odd. But people gave him a pass and that was that. He could have been ended right there. Even pre social media Drake's cellphone "freestyle"was well known. From 2006 to about 2010 I thought Drake was corny but after that I could deny him no longer. I remember when my ex told me about this actor turned blog rapper (remember when that was a thing) back in 2006. I was like "he is corny and never going to make it. No one gives a fukk about blog rap."
Thanks Papi for making me eat it. You shoved it all inside of me. You made me eat my fukking words!![]()
HOL HOL HOL UP
YOU SAID YOU IN THE ASTON....
DOIN DONUTS?????
It's crazy. Back then so many people criticized Flex for not being a proper gatekeeper for the game and dikkriding instead of holding Drake accountable for the fukkery he had on display here. Fast forward a decade and he's trying to tear him down for the ghostwriting. Nah Flex, you had a chance to regulate before this even got going and hyped it up instead.
Like someone else said, crazy that this happened before the social media era really came to. Only people who saw this were hip-hop message board posters. Look what happened to Troy Ave's career
