His album flopped in comparison to the manufactured hype they built up for him and how popular he was on social media, but 46k first week on your first album is not a career ending flop.

He was one of the first artist out of this new era of "clout kid" rappers and definitely the first to drop a full retail release. They didn't know how to properly market him and used traditional marketing tactics to lukewarm results.

Now the music industry has a much better grasp on how to properly build a true hardcore fanbase out of large social media followings.

He's still super popular on social media among young kids, people are still checking in on him and his life, they just gotta produce decent music and build up his hardcore fanbase through that and guerilla marketing over a period of time and bam he's super relevant again.

QC one of the smarter labels when it comes to hiphop, they're gonna make something shake. nikkas thought the Migos were done before "bad and boujee" came out.
