"Theme Music To A Drive-by", "Failure" and "Trials & Tribulations"

After those three 1st listens..
I knew he was the most talented of his generation, no debating..

Lu was like Jay-Z & Nas combined in that era :whew:

I had such high hopes for Lu to "Illmatic" the game because of the Fahrenheit mixtape buildup
Then the Food & Liquor advance leaked and it was :blessed:

We all know what happened next....
How things have changed since then.......

He still has the talent tho, "Form Follows Function" is dope as hell

Yall fools trippin'...Lu is probably in his best lyrical shape. His metaphors are way more cryptic now, but they still hit just as hard. His listeners are just slow

Gotta be lupe the killer....i listen to that in the morning when i cook breakfast my nikka. :wow:

I mean it took me a minute to really become a hardcore fan, but even before then i could see that he was ill, just didn't really care/like him that much, even after the first album came out.

I got tired of nikkas dikk riding him so i kinda backtracked to his mixtape stuff RIGHT before the cool came out to really get an idea of why nikkas were breaking his stuff down a bar at a time in that thread, i'm glad i didn't play him off. Almost did the same thing to kendrick and his whole hype.
