nah.

he was good to me (The Cool is what i go back to if i feel like listening to his material and its rare that i do) and i could see why his fans geek over him but his music never made me feel anyway for it to blow my mind in the ways that.. Pun's Beware did or Shook Ones, 2 Dope Boys In A Cadillac, Respiration, Dead Presidents, CREAM, Rainy Dayz did..you can throw in Cam'rons Come Home With Me joint in there. (i'd probably take that Jim Jones verse on there over any Lupe joint). i couldn't force myself into his music like that and it would be a chore to sit there to try and catch all his shyt or read it..theres no real fun or enjoyment in that.

What youre saying is that sometimes Lupe is lyrically too far advanced and you prefer the simpler verses, which is cool. I think Pac is the GOAT, and he's pretty damn simple. But understand your paragraph and your short answer contradict each other. He blew your mind to the point where you gave up on the lyrically dense songs.

But its like cats try to act like EVERY Lupe song is "Dumb it Down" when less than 10% are... LOL @ Jimmy Ones having ANY verse better than ANY Lu verse

Failure. One of the greatest lyrical displays ever written. And he’s talking street shyt, with double and triple meanings.

That’s hiphop at his peak. I would have loved to hear what his album before Food and Liquor would have sounded like.
