Sony and MS better pray that Mantle and SteamOS don't take off, cause if they do the gap between PC games and console games would be 2 generations. Every dev out there would have low level access to GPUs that are considerably more powerful to the consoles 
I honestly do feel bad for console players, not even to shyt on them but 1080p/60 frames should be a bare minimum standard for next gen. Gears of war 3 was 720p/30 frames, you'd think the next gen would be past that.
