You haven't played NBA 2K on the PC for the past 5 years to be talking this way.

We have enjoyed a VERY nice PC game from 2K8-2K13 that absolutely CRUSHED the xbox 360/ps3 versions graphically. NBA 2K15 will start that cycle again.

Is it worth it? I don't know, you tell me...do you want to have the best visuals? There is no hassle, I build my computer with a solid foundation (motherboad) and swap pieces out (3-4 minutes) every 2-3 years. Double click to launch from the desktop.

It doesn't get any easier than that.

Yes I want the best visuals but resolution alone isn't enough. Moreso than simply resolution, I care about player models and animations when it comes to sports games (which are the only games I play). And guess what. The player models and animations are the same on consoles or PC. All you get when you play this shyt on PC is just better resolution. Better resolution is nice but to me, who doesn't know shyt about computers and how to maintain them, the costs and time needed just to get better resolution of the same player models and animations I'm getting on console just ain't worth it.

Maybe you got more time than me, but I'm working 10 hours a day. And don't have much time on the weekends. So at most I'll be playing 1-2 hours a night, maybe 3 or 4 nights a week. Playing the same game at high resolution just ain't worth it.

Sounds like you just refuse to pay up front for better hardware...your time argument doesn't make sense because "learning" about the PC doesn't take much time at all.

Suit yourself though, too bad your argument about "just better visuals" is only half of the story. Skyrim is essentially a whole different game on the PC at this point.

Your narative of "easy" doesn't fit with your skyrim argument.

Messing around with mods is time consuming and in no way easy. Neither is getting the best graphics.

Not saying its difficult either. But its not easy in comparision to consoles or time spent to tinkering

You have to work a little harder to get the best initially, then it becomes easy work.

We are literally talking minutes here

It's not just "minutes" and for some people "minutes" are a big deal. Look at the launch of BF4 if you want to get the best out of that game you've had to spend much more than minutes getting it right and you still have more work to do. If you were to just install it and click on the desktop like you said you do, you won't be getting a better experience than consoles, and it could even be worse.

I'm sorry but consoles heads cannot bring in the "we don't care about paying more for superior graphics/FPS". Get the fukk out of here with that, because 90% of the posters on this board were back on SOHH when the last gen started, and the whole justification for paying more for a PS3 was predicated on that. So that's not even a viable point in this discussion. The reason people are :whoa: "we don't care about that now" is because unlike last gen, when the PC heads were content to sit on the sidelines and :russ: we're actually active in the gaming threads now.
