Driving to my mom’s house, all kinds of stores open for business on Christmas. Watching Disney event, they got full staff parade and concert going on. Actually I don’t think Disney ever closes. I remember back in the day only gas stations were open on seasonal holidays.

Well, Disney is a vacation destination and Christmas and the related days are easily one of, if not, the, most profitable days of their entire calendar. I'd be shocked if they were foolishly closed then.

Most business are closed...coffee shops and Chinese food restaurants, and a few others are regularly open, and gas like you said. What are you seeing open?

Didn't even know this on the bolded, been there never for the holidays

I'm seeing a lot of non-national convenience stores open, smoke shops, coffee shops. We have a Discount Drug Mart here, they never close.
