I don't know about anywhere else but the pandemic did a reset in my area. Stores USED to be open during the holidays.
Everything closes down on holidays after covid.
Even the stores that used to be open all night before covid (not holiday hours, just regular hours) close by 11 now.
I hate it.
Same here, Walmart used be 24/7, after covid they close at 11. Best Buy went to 11 - 7 after covid. Come to think of it I don't think we have any 24/7 stores anymore except gas stations.
. I'ma get them pancakes.... I figure if I was in that situation would I rather be bored from NO one coming in and mad I had to work, or time flying cuz I'm busy and mad I had to work? I proceeded to order that turkey bacon
: Even crazier, I seen a shopper come out of the store!

i was lioe bytch u stay home sunday let us live
stores used to be open for at least a couple hours. I used to go grab stuff from time to time when I worked the holidays at the hospital/treatment center. That was a 24/7 day a week job so we had to work and usually we'd grab something for work whether it be donuts or TV dinners or something for a work potluck.
