Considering that the first bitcoin threads on the coli appeared in 2012 or 2013, you could have made life changing money off of it with minimal investment. But people who began investing at the hight of the crypto hype only helped making other people rich

I remember new years eve 2017. I was arguing with this drunk dude who complained that all his collegues were making money off of bitcoin and his wife wouldn't let him and how he was missing out because of her. I told him that the time to invest was four years ago and that entering the market now was like investing in stocks in the summer of 1929. He kept insisting that he was going to buy bitcoins. Soon after, the monumental crash happened

I had no disppsable income in 2017. And to this day I am furious about it. I knew nothing of it in 2013 and prior. And to this day I'm disappointed in myself and my environment because of it.

I guess you can call it luck but I started reinvesting when it hit 3.5k this year and it immediately shot to 13k over the course of the last 6 months so I’ve been eating again.

20 bitcoins were less then 10 bucks in 2012. So a hundred dollars in investment would have bought you more than 2000 bitcoins, which would have been worth more than 40.000.000 in late 2017
