Yep it’s hip hop. If Prodigy made a full r&b song I would consider it hip hop since he raps most the time. Simply a hip hop artist stepping into another lane.

At this point, we’re gonna have to agree to disagree. I don’t like when I have several post in the same thread repeatedly having to expound on my point. I almost always understand where someone is coming from, even if I disagree with them. Even when people like to do the thing where they may disagree, but act like they have no idea how you could have the position you have. So this is one of those topics where I fully understand the logic of everyone and I’m not even mad at y’all for having the opinion it’s not hip hop. I simply disagree, and I’ve explained why and posted examples and rearticulated my point a few times, made sure to let people know I wasn’t saying I like the song etc... so at this point, it’s pointless for me to to continue engaging.
