Artists getting sued over sampling is nothing new, it actually is something u might want to do background checks on. 50cent had to change his lyric for how to rob cause of Mariah. And u decide to call her out by name on Twitter for clout over using her song? That's asking for a lawsuit

Them nikkas ain’t worried bout no fukking lawsuit. They already know they can’t make money from the song. That shyt already out and it’s gonna be out. Them nikkas don’t give a fukk about no Mariah Carey, as they shouldn’t, as they just sampled her song. Them tagging her only helped in the end since she responded publicly which only equals more clout for them. Look, the song is dumb as shyt, so I’m not defending it. But this is hip hop and nikkas sample and flip shyt and I’m definitely not about to fake no outrage about some young nikkas talking ignorant over a Mariah Carey song. It’s nowhere near that serious and it’s hip hop, no matter how ignorant it may be.

the fact that its on youtube means its being monetized. i watch Youtube reviews of movies and all the time the Youuber willl get the video taken down or alter the video to cut out the movie soundtrack.. And these dumbasses clapping back at her on twitter just put a bigger target on their back.

lol these 2000s babies don't have a single original bone in their body.
Ehhhh my parents told me the same thing about my music growing up....it’s funny how our opinions start to mimic our parents as we get older:francis:

But anyways all for this, there’s nothing cool or appealing about degrading classic R&B songs and making them about the onslaught of another Black male

Who's outraged? I think it's funny as hell she snapped back at these kids :russ:

My original point being this isnt a race issue. And she got every right to send lawyers after them

I disagree with you on the lawsuit issue. I've never dealt with it, but being sued by someone has absolutely no upside, it's all bad. And being sued by someone with hundreds of millions is not how I would want to gain attention.10 years from now when these lil brehs grow older, they gonna be getting they Wal Mart/truck driver/warehouse (whatever they decide to do for a living)checks garnished behind this nonsense

No matter how you try to slice it, Mariah Carey responding to these dude in a public manner is nothing but great for them. Them lil nikkas wherever they at hi fiving each other, not shaking in the boots cause she said she calling her lawyer lol. Clout is the name of the game. She could have did the same thing, but privately, and not clouted these dudes up.

Man them dudes will be straight. Either they don’t make no noise in industry, or this is the thing that puts them on the map and they leverage them momentum into some type of career. It’s probably the former. But unauthorized use of a Mariah Carey song not about to destroy they life or career. It does not work like that

:scust::scust: murder and degeneracy has become gimmicky and seen as nothing serious.

:francis::francis: Like damn, remix the songs and talk about investing, real estate....something else :snoop::snoop:

Materialism, sex, murder, mayhem, laughs.....................yea im getting old :why:

Jay tried and ni99as said he was a lame camel and no one wanted to hear that sh1t. They would much rather hold huge amounts of cash to the side of their ugly fetal alcohol syndrome pea heads.

:camby: The problem is Jay-Z wants it both ways. Pause.
