the point is an additional $2000 check was never coming if that were the case it would be a $2600 stimmy...I never expected and it was even written in media that it was just a $1400 check to go along with the $600.

There was a lot of saving face in this period after Democrats championed
themselves as the party of the people and when it was time to do right
by the people they changed what they would deliver.
Either way, $600, $1200, $2000, etc. Simply isn't enough and it makes
no sense that smaller nations had more sensible and better plans and they still continue too.

It's funny because this is similar with what happened with Obamacare. Republicans demanded a bunch of changes, Dems made the changes and the republicans still didn't support the bill, and pointed the finger at the Dems for the way the plan turned out. Dems bend too easily.
The fact that the $2000 check is even an arguing point is case and point of Democratic in-fighting.
