Getting it now. A tenured professor job is one of the most secure jobs you can have, makes it really hard to be let go, plus you get sabbaticals.

You can always go back fam. I hate the rat race sometimes, but when you see how white the history field is, and how some fukkers totally disregard black history and subscribe to the Dunning school thoughts on black inferiority, you see that we are needed. We literally write what others will study for generations to come.

thats great breh. Tha history field is super white. I went to a prominent HBCU and even there tha history dept had a lot of cac professors. Good luck with your thesis....i know that shyt aint easy.

shyt, I'mm trying to teach myself Haitian Creole for my foreign language requirement and preparing to present at conferences soon. I fukks mostly with race and education (educational policy)

even though Im at a PWI, my dissertation committee is nothing but black folk

If you don't advance in history, you limit your job opportunities. Masters will get you teaching k-12, but its really worth it to get that PhD

I need to send 2 sealed transcripts to the grad school I'm applying to. I plan on putting them in one of those orange envelopes but don't now how many stamps are needed. I was thinking 3 because it won't be that heavy
