You know how people look at Soulja Boy as being the death of hip hop? That's how I look at Jeezy. When he came out with Thug Motivation, I had never heard someone so wack. I was genuinely puzzled like: "nikkaz like this shyt? these poppy beats and trash raps?" I know it sounds weird to say 'poppy' but honestly that was my impression. It was like ghetto pop. Childishly glossy beats that didn't have much groove to them, mixed with lazy "I'm a hustler" raps.

Anyway, Jeezy's got a bunch of those repeat-bar rhymes. It was the style among dull "street" rappers back then.
