They can't . Not consistently anyway. I've looked at the tape, watched them play. They both struggle greatly at driving to the rim. Neither are good enough athletes to turn the corner on a baseline drive against NBA athletes on a consistent level

There's a cool video out there comparing Durant and Ingram in college using footage of both.

To be fair, Durant couldn't turn the corner in college either.

What I do like though, is Ingram looks more shifty than Durant in the same stage. Plus Ingram can really finish strong in traffic. Dude takes contact very well and finishes.

I think Ingram will prove to be a better passer than people realize, he always made the extra pass when I was watching him. He let the offense come to him and stayed within the flow of the team and he made the right decision, or tried to set people up for scores.
