Convenient timing to (re)surface this talking point the day after they convincingly beat the Cavs and looked as poised, focused and turmoil free as they've been in 3 seasons, with a huge game 2 looming where they could place the proverbial foot on the cavs neck and potentially make this a short-lived uneventful series.

Yea the timing is suspect and the Bulls are playing well...odd that this rumor would break again in the midst of the Bulls run
issues with minutes and his head assistant being fired namely Ron Adams us losing his guys like Asik Deng have really strained or at this point killed the relationship. I would rather we fire our GM and give Thibs (some) personnel power.

Thibs has a losing playoff record though.Fraud bum coach? He's one of the best coaches in the league, and if I'm not mistaken only Pop has a better winning percentage amongst active coaches.
That is the landing spot if he is canned he wont be in a traditional sense. They'll work out some sort of agreement on compensation amongst the teams to pay Thibs and keep it moving. I'm done being a fan of them if they let Thibs go after winning a title.
