The problem is, OKC isn't a basketball town

They can't afford to tank, and the ownership group doesn't have the funds to afford an empty arena for the 3-6 years it would take to work a "process"

That's why they let Russ just statpad his way to MVP last season...they were desperate to keep him by any means necessary because Russ means "fans" in the seats

They'd be gone in a year, maybe 2 max if they tried to tank. The league might even backdoor force ownership to either move or sell the team the minute they traded Russ

Truth.....I been saying the same thing. If Paul leaves the league will hook them up with another trade like they did with Paul George and Carmelo.

They're still way over the cap, they've got no way to improve the team. If I'm Presti I move Adams and Russ(when I can, he's not eligible to be moved till September), play Melo 40 mins per game next year and blow it up

Ingram will be better than PG in about 2-3 years, he just needa put some weight on.

Kuzma will be a better offensive player than him in a couple years as well.
