For someone with his condition yeah, they could sue. They can sue for the fact that he probably been served eggs at all. Google shows hundreds of cases like this, most of which show that the nurse "quickly realized and got them something easier to eat"
Hospital fukked up
if they really fukked up and theyre owed the money, i agree
what exactly was his condition, was he sitting up, coherent and all that? i mean if thats the case and he asked for eggssome poor fukkin nurse taking care of 20 ppl isnt gonna know the difference
if he got spoon fed the shyt or something like that thats completely different
We aren't going to figure this out with the little we know.
I happen to do this for a living.
This is what it boils down to
Depends on whether they met the applicable standard of care. If he presented with symptoms that made it so they should have taken him off solid foods, then they can be sued. Or if they took him off solids and then fukked up and have him lunch, then they could be sued.
Also maybe he was hooked up to monitors and maybe they didn't pick up on signs of distress?
None of us know for sure but the family should consult with an attorney and look into it.
