Both of them combined would cost about $25. Very inexpensive but they are amazing

Its addictive because your brain needs it!

What the article is saying that the rats preferred sweetened water, then they did cocaine, but they are wording it like sugar is more addictive then cocaine. They never even thought(or ignoring) they are two different things that work the brain in different ways. Sugar is an essential substance that gives your brain energy to work. Cocaine is a nonessential that releases neurotransmitters to keep you going. Maybe the rats didn't feel the need to do cocaine all day when they had food, or maybe the cocaine worked longer on them then humans, and made them want more sugar water.

The study also says the sweetener they used had no calorie content, so that means even though the rats tasted sweetness, it had no effect on their brains metabolism.

So, in reality, you can argue its the artificial sweeteners that can be more addictive then cocaine?:dwillhuh:

The artificial sweetener they used in this study is basically sweet'n'low!

Looks like they found their new cocaine to make them rich:ohhh:

All they have to do is make YOU want it. So, hating natural sugar seems like the first step:mjlit:

What a stupid ass post.

I stopped drinking soda and was on a water only diet (meaning only liquid i drink water) and i felt great. Of cours i fukked that up and now drink 6 cups of coffee and ith sugar a day.

Im dying. Im always tired. Lik always. Been sleeping 12 hrs on 8 hrs up 12 hrs sleep again.

Help me sugar man. I need a hit.
A while back I went like two months without sugar or alcohol. I've always had a crazy sweet tooth. During those two months my body felt better than ever. The aches and pains I'd normally feel were completely gone. My mood was consistently amazing.

Sugar is bad for you, its not cocaine bad for you. If you ingested as much cocaine as you did sugar you'd be brunt.

Sugar is super addictive, I get cravings for it hard and I'm a sugar junkie :francis:

No lie I can't even imagine my life with no sugars. Even if it was just natural sugars...

I hate articles like this. like really, not the fukk it ain't I ain't never drove round the hood at 3 am looking for some sweets. lol.
Is that really an apt comparison though? Sugar is too accessible (and obviously legal) there ever to be situations like that. No one has to ever go out of their way for sugar, they just walk to their kitchen. Nobody would go out at 3am looking for coke or heroin if they kept it on them at all times either.

I was kind of on the fence about the effects of sugar for a while.

2 things really made me stop the bullshyt about it and really monitor my intake.

1) Dropping sugar straight up was so, so much harder than quitting smoking. I couldn't fukking believe it. When work stress got crazy, I could easily hammer out 2 packs a day. I managed to quit just by going cold turkey, fixing some of things that were causing me tension at work, and working out more. Removing sugar out my diet by around 70% though (because you really *cant* avoid it)? Holy shyt. I didn't only want it, but my body was straight up not working right.

2) Give something high in sugar to someone who's never had it before. They will go dumb. Its not like "oh i never had pizza before" or whatever, they fiend low key.
