Voting Democratic should be considered a holding-action, a blunt against the overt harm the Republicans seek to do to us. Understanding that the other option is worse in most regards. Still, voting should not be the end all be all of our actions. While we seek to blunt the actions of the overt anti-Black American faction, we should be building up our power and economic base to no longer need the help of the covert use Black Americans as a mule faction.
Black Self-Sufficiency needs to be an imperative for our people, and intelligent vetting of candidates should be a mandate we hold for ourselves. Complaining does not work, we should already know this by what has happened over the last 60 years. Instead, working to place ourselves in a position of equal or better footing should be our goal. To do that, we must vet every candidate and choose the one that best aligns with what we need irrespective of how that affects other ethnicities or special interests. Align where we have common ground, but also be willing to breakway when common ground can not be found.

. LBJ was basically remit to continue the work of Kennedy after he was assassinated as honor to him. Social unrest was boiling over and Kennedy’s death would’ve cause more unrest. Kennedy laid the groundwork for implementing the civil rights act and would have likely continued on to do that and be credited if he were alive. If LBJ was initially prez, he wouldn’t have even sniffed at pushing a CRA. LBJ was still a trash cracka at heart…he didn’t enact or lobby for the CRA, he only gave it his blessing. Behind the scenes he kinda steered folks to get it passed but had severe regret after that because he basically converted those former dem southern crakas to repubes…basically losing a huge voting bloc.
