I remember when there was a lot of buzz for MBP, back in the mid 90's, in the city. There were so many tracks floating around on the mixtapes, it was hard to keep track of all of them. Tariq was doing so much work at the time. People slept on dude, and his writing skills. At one point, he was the dude to go to for dope hooks. He had a million of them. Word was that B.I.G. was trying to sign Minnesota to the label he wanted to start with Jay, for The Commission. So it's always nice to see new projects from them.
