It is hypocritical and trash, yes.

But on another note.. I kind of get it.

What is there to discuss really? Another day another mass shooting in Amerikkka. Nothing changes. This time the perpetrator was a transgender. So there will probably be random attacks on members of that community going forward as "retaliation". Best not to spread the word anymore.

But still, of all places, thats the place where this would be... a necessary discussion. If the victims were lgbtq+ the thread wouldn't be closed.

They are hypocrites.
