2nd time they’ve confirmed that Outbreak is canon. Hopefully they port the Outbreak series to modern consoles.

Would be surprising if it wasn't since 8 and 7 were. Third person seems to be more for the remakes and potential spinoffs.

If Nintendo had smart people working for them, they'd get in touch with Capcom around securing a timed exclusive deal for Resident evil Zero and Resident evil 1 remakes. Then when that deal expires, there's an exclusive switch 2 bundle that's released which includes remakes of RE0 and 1-4.
