Having both is a great idea, makes it so nobody can complain. I like 3rd person better but I can deal with both if necessary.

We’ll see once it’s actually out. It’s rare that a game has both, and one isn’t the clear priority

However, the menu does note that the game recommends the first-person camera. Again, that makes sense, since Requiem is very much still in that RE7 mold.

Meh....Resident Evil fell off long time ago if we are not counting the remakes. RE4 was the beginning. While the game was really well made, a lotta hardcore RE fans did not agree with the changes...anyway that game was great no doubt....but the rest of them that came out after it? Meh....lost that scary horror factor and became more of an action type of game than slow stealth horror.

This is why I so enjoyed RE2 remake, cause it felt like a proper Resident Evil again.


If this will be open world game? Then no...You can't make open world horror games lol it beats the entire purpose of horror.

Like with every hardcore video game in the 200s they made them more accessible to the West vs a harcore Japanese horror game with quirky Japanese shyt in it. The combat in RE 4 was definitely the right direction but everything else over the years
