It doesn’t matter. The $6.38 shouldn’t even be there.
Why not?

If they let them know prior, then I don’t see a problem with it.

Most places I go to give you a warning if there is a credit card fee or anything like that

Just to be clear, you pay extra for toilet paper, food, gas, movies, entertainment, alcohol, parking, gyms, clothes, technology, leisure shyt, travel

but if a small business wants to ask for more to battle inflation, its a problem ?

it should be included on the price of the items you dont add an inflation fee wtf :mjlol::mjtf:

They shouldn't have mentioned it on the receipt

But at the same time, the current dysfunction with the Supply Chain is really hitting the Food Industry really hard. Understandable

but why advertise it?

everything else you mentioned, do they tack on an explicit fee? or do they just raise their prices 5%? :dead:
Exactly. If it's mitigating inflation add it to the food costs. Don't be upset if someone chooses not to tip because of that BS.

Looks like they don't want to adjust the prices on the menu to reflect inflation like everyone else does but they think adding it to the end is a good idea. Madness
