Well people don't want to turn to police and they are inadvertently protecting the wrong people in the community who benefit from the silence. There was yet another father who's child was shot last weekend who refused to speak to police. There can't just be a stop snitching movement it has to be a completed thought. stop snitching and...

To me the solution is community intervention if you can't trust the system. As people are simultaneously attacking the system they have to account for the community. Identify criminals internally, don't give them safe harbor. Make it hard for them to live amongst us. Drive them out. Stop claiming that people can't stop shooting and killing each other because they are doing it for survival.

I've heard of neighbourhoods where some folks make it a no pass area for that shyt. People grew up with O.G.s like that who would keep their areas off limits to street shyt. It's just a mentality that has to be spread more and adopted. At this point we are at an impasse. The revolutionary energy got people to the table to talk police reform and police defunding then the shootings skyrocket. That is horrible for the optics of change. It just won't work and the offenders are not to be protected anymore.

But this should've been expected. Proper leadership would have prepared folks to be vigilant since there will be no police presence as a result of their movement.
