Denard Robinson given new Jaguars position

VKSQEDN.png

The Jacksonville Jaguars drafted "running back" Denard Robinson in the fifth-round, where most pundits had the former Michigan quarterback as a wide receiver. Robinson's overall skill-set would seem to lean more towards running back than wide receiver, but the Jaguars appear to not be wanting to limit him to a specific postition, so they've created a brand new one for him.

Robinson is officially listed on the roster as "OW" or "offensive weapon."

:damn: This nikka gonna be out the league

http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2013/8/9/4607968/justin-blackmon-removed-jaguars-sideline-fight

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon had to be removed from the sideline during Friday evening's preseason matchup with the Miami Dolphins for jawing with Dolphins defensive back Nolan Carroll and one of his own teammates on the sideline. He had to be pulled away by head coach Gus Bradley and then was escorted to the locker room by Maurice Jones-Drew, according to a report in the Associated Press.

Story I got: Blackmon & Carroll jawing. Babin tells Blackmon to pipe down since he's suspended 4 games. Blackmon turns on Babin. #Jaguars

What are y'all's thoughts on bringing in Josh Freeman after the season? He's basically all but done down there in Tampa because he and Shciano clearly don't fukk with each other. Just looked it up and he's only 25 (26 at the start of the 2014 season), and he's shown more than anybody we've had in a minute; not to mention he's more proven than any rookie "savior" we could bring in. I don't have intimate knowledge of what's goin on down there, but from surface level, it looks like he just might need a change of scenery.

I dont see it happening, because I dont really see the talent in Josh. Very rare for a qb to fail somewhere and end up working out somewhere else. I'd rather get my own qb. We young enough to take the hit on starting a rookie right out the jump aint no expectations. Josh looks like a backup at this point

That's just the thing- I wouldn't call Freeman a failure. Not by a long shot. Maybe I'm crazy, but the more I think about it, the more I want us to make this move. Take a look at this article: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/writer...eers-qb-josh-freeman-expected-to-seek-a-trade

So my jaguars brehs what's your opinion so far?

  • Obviously we suck but we're slowly showing improvement. Our defense has played alot better than the stats show, mostly because of the continuous 3 and outs our offense produces.
  • That boy Cyp is gonna be a monster :wow:. He still has alot to work on and has a tendency to arm tackle alot, but you can tell his instincts are there.
  • I don't even have to talk about Blackmon:blessed:. Just wait til he has a real quarterback back there.

Those fakkit ass bucs better start winning some games though. Tank for Teddy is in full effect.

Really like what i'm seeing out of our young secondary this season. I still feel as though we are a TRUE #1 corner away from a dominate secondary but maybe it's Gratz and we'll see that next season once he's healthier.
