That must be a down south thing. NY still has places that are fully operational, but some dining in places still closed.

I never seen no popular food spot closed down at 8 pm on a Friday night.

Way down south haha grocery store changed their hours to close at 9. Seafood spot closes at 8:30 now instead of 10. Used to get 2 hush puppies with the combo now you get 1. All kinds of bad changes happening.

Figures. Guess that is among the (only) plus about having an abundance of (illegal) immigration in NY. There is always someone willing to work in those jobs, and of course in NY, they pay higher and actually negotiable wages.

Down South, they on that kamikaze shyt. They willing to crash and burn these fast food places before raising their hourly wages by $2 for the workers. They really hate seeing financial mobility from fast food workers that much.

Exactly. They’ve been dangling this threat for decades now. Like a woman threatening to leave. Like bytch, if you could do better, you would’ve left by now.

That’s why you need to find a good woman brehs. I haven’t seen the inside of a fast food restaurant in years. I always come home to a warm cooked meal and then leftovers in the morning.

Fast food and retail is really scraping the bottom of the labor pool now. You gotta question anyone who willingly signs up for those jobs.

I said the same shyt when one of the warehouses I support was questioning why their productivity was so trash. I said "yall paying 14 dollars an hour, why would anyone worth half a damn come in here to work, if I were you I would be questioning the folks who are staying here". Manager looked at me like .

It's not just retail and fast food. Office jobs having a hard time finding workers too. My supervisor said they usually get a couple hundred applications for openings and the most recent opening they've had 2. These are 45-60k a year jobs too

It’s a crapshoot depending on the restaurant. Zaxbys on Northside is terrible for mobile orders. You’ll be waiting in your car for 30 minutes anyway. Other times stores will disable online ordering because it’s too much. You see the thread about Chipotle.

That’s why I’m pissed you can’t even walk in to most restaurants anymore.

A couple of my employees (a couple brothas and a mexican cat) eat that shiit daily. I'm like damn... there's better food out there that will help you live longer.
