I'm still wondering how the hell places like Sears and Kmart are still in the game out here.

I worked at Sears when I was 19...

Downtown Houston

crackheads stealing levi's....

hoodrats returning stolen clothes...... ahhh the memories.

The nicest people were always the elderly sistas..... they were so damned nice to a brotha I would always go out my way to take their purchases to the car and make sure they were safe, cuz we had sorry ass "security"

For people who don't live close to decent malls, shopping online is convenient. Sometimes, the cost of shipping is better than the gas, tolls, packing up kids, going out in the freezing cold, etc. You can also do more shopping in a shorter time period. It could take all day going from store to store buy food, clothes, tools, electronics, etc.

There are 24 hours in a day. It does not take damn near all day to shop.

These nikkas really hate social interaction. Im guilty as a prime member and online shopper but thats if im at work bored browsing my phone. If im home ill go to the store or mall for bullshyt just to get out for fresh air and cardio. Its crazy tho cuz the youngings walkin with their heads down in the phone like eye contact causes herpes or something

Man I can’t stand being in the house all day, I love going to work cause I get to interact with people.

I don’t mind spending 30 min or an hour driving and going to the store.

And one day when I have kids I picture it would be dope to take the little ones inside a Kmart or something to buy decorations for holidays and shyt like that

It most certainly can take all day to run errands, and shop, especially with children. If a woman has a baby at home, and a child in achool, she only has a certain window of time to get things done, on top of cooking, and cleaning. Maybe on the weekends, the family wants to do activities that don't involve shopping. And not everyone likes being out and about. I'm just saying shopping online can be more convenient depending on your personal need. People are always looking for more convenience.

Look at banks. You had to go inside, then you had drive thrus, and ATMs, and now mobile deposits on the app. Technology isn't going to stop advancing, and it sucks for human interaction, but it is what it is.

Do you think people will wake up and realize America might be overpopulated? :lupe:

It is. The population almost tripled in the last 50 years. That's troublesome. Florida went from 1.4 to 22 million people in just 25 years. The infrastructure cannot keep up. A 1 child policy like China has to come soon.

That Sears is shutting down too. Everything is dirt cheap. I believe they'll be closed by this coming Feb.

What makes you think most kids gonna like programming... or even have access to the resources to become adept at it... what elementary or jr high teacher is gonna teach the inner city youth the joys of coding?
nikka you're full of excuses and negativity. Losing before the race even starts.

Plenty of white and asian kids like programming, and Hispanic kids not playing games either. So what are you really trying to say Brother?

There isn't anything negative about what I said..... it's just common fukking sense.....most kids aren't going to like coding..... and as I asked previously... whose going to teach them?

Plenty of "kids" find their way onto Insta, Facebook, etc. There are thousands of free tutorials for different languages. FREE. They just need their parents to want it for them. A child has to be led.
