Breh I peep that jawn and hit the

:whew:

It's crazy how that jawn you can do the most from retro to cloud gaming for a hundred bones versus the fukking Logitech handheld that's the same price of a steamdeck:martin:
I am so confused by Logitech putting out a handheld. So random. I had originally ordered the AYN Odin, but canceled that order because it was too expensive for how casual of a gamer I am. I can’t wait to get my RP3, but this thing is taking forever to ship.

It's all capitalization on the whole retro/cloud handheld market. You are basically paying for the name, when you can get a powkiddy and be Gucci.

i feel sorry for well meaning people who want to collect and don't see it as some weird "investment" or status symbol. i sold off all my shyt at peak pandemic prices, mostly SNES, but also some N64.

i personally hate having a bunch of carts and shyt around, so i'ma always just emulate and still be into retro. :blessed::blessed:

If I sell my collection right now I'd easly get 50 bands for it minimum. I have all my games from the NES era up and never sold most of them. :flabbynsick:

People like you should maintain your collection for as long as possible then contact a museum when you want to get rid of them. Sounds extra but there's only about 3 video game museums in the country and like 10 worldwide.

You never know, covers, boxes, parts:manny:

In addition to disc rot and console maintenance.. it’s a hassle. Only caveat is if the game has never been remade/ported & it’s hard to emulate.

Panzer Dragoon Saga on the Sega Saturn is a prime example.
I came to mention PD Saga and the Saturn

I’m glad I have a modded expansion cart for my Saturn to play burned games cause even shyt like MK Trilogy goes for over 150

I have Ultimate MK3 and it's going up like crazy. I used to play a lot of MK Trilogy on Saturn with my homeboy back in the 90's told me he still has that game. I have MK Trilogy on PlayStation but I don't think it's worth as much.

I had this in my feed and dude speaks some form of gospel as far as the retro game market is concerned.

shyt is becoming gross and alarming if you are a collector. I remember when I used to collect, copping PS1 games for like 5 to 10 bones.

Now these dikkheads trying to charge 100 dollars for a old ass game without the case and everything.

Emulation gang is all we got at this point :francis:

Is there even a good Sony simulation program?

I lost pieces of my collection due to selling it off, moves, and trades so I started back up the past couple of years and honestly it's not bad but there's just some stuff I'm not paying for and will just emulate and keep it moving.

Only reason I'm still hanging on to my 2000 PS2(still works like a charm) and my copy of DBZ BT3.

I'll let them both go...for a price. :ehh:

Still annoyed how all my PS2 games pretty much ended up in the trash when I moved back to NY 11 years ago. I had all the Budokai games and saw Tenkaichi 3 is going for damn near $200 online recently. :damn:
