Sherman has trouble with smaller receivers. There's a reason he doesn't move into the slot. He doesn't play anywhere, so why go hard as if he does?

I don't think there's enough of a sample size to show he struggles with small receivers. He hasn''t moved into the slot because of how good their pass defense was with him playing on the left side.

im not saying pics aren't a huge factor but that doesn't determine weather your the best at your position.

too many d backs gamble and get burned and try to get a pick when they could just deflect the ball.

I would correct this slightly. If Sherman shadowed Edlemen all night, that wouldnt have affected their coverage of Gronk at all. What it would have done was forced Brady to throw to his second and 3rd option at least 10 more times in the game, which would be Amendola and Lafell. It would have forced the Pats to rely on Amendola and made him beat them. I would say that would have given the Seahawks an advantage and a better chance of winning the game.
