It's pretty simple, most people don't like arrogant loudmouths.

No one likes the arrogant guy at their job/school etc, so why should we like the arrogant loudmouth athlete?

:usure: Some of the most popular athletes ever were arrogant loudmouths...Ruth, Namath, Jordan, Bird, Shaq, Kobe, Deion, Floyd etc.

It's always humorous when people conveniently pull out the "arrogance" card when what it really comes down to is they don't like a guy. When will the myth of the "golly gee I'm so humble Eddy Haskell" athlete die? Most highly successful people are arrogant and the only reason more of them don't openly demonstrate it is because many of their consumers are insecure as fukk and thusly threatened by it.

I've asked every Jets fans this and they all respond with "some people say" shyt.

All we can go by is Revis' history. Last time we had this go around he had to be the highest paid guy. We know how he and his agents negotiate. Hell, the second he signed his last contract he said he'd hold out again.

I dont know how we can justify giving him an enormous deal with the state of the team.

It actually hurts guys as good as Revis with the NFL being the way it is. Good teams dont pay big bucks to non QB/pass rush positions. The cap just doesnt allow it.

There was no reason for Revis to even comment on what Sherman said...now he made this a bigger deal and discussion than it should be by going back and forth with Sherm on twitter.

He took the bait...kinda lame and insecure on Revis' part to get involved with Sherman who is proving to be the league's #1 :troll:

Idk why ppl keep bringing up they never heard of Richard Sherman until THIS year, first its only his 2nd year and second isnt that how recognition normally works, you do something recognizable (in this case have an all pro season) and then ppl start to take notice.

I dont even like Sherman but Revis was the one that acted (reacted) like a hoe. Sherman was in the right for leaving Revis's name out of the discussion until he can prove he can back on the field and play at the same level, that's common convention

One of the only intelligent posts in this thread.

I'll admit Sherman likes to talk but he backs it up. Also after the game he's cool with you unless you're Brady.

really breh?
