seriously...i just saw alien for the first time yesterday on HBOGO on my phone..dont get me wrong, as a kid i remember watching the movie but just things like the alien, shyt poppin out a dudes chest..and sigornery weaver in some half-worn panties


shyt was not as scary as i was expecting

it was a good movie, but nikkas were acting like it was on the exorcist level..

which till this day leaves me like

Prometheus got me downloading all the alien movies....up to part 3 now

This movie isnt about "aliens" and discovering "new life". Its simply about death and our ever lasting need to know what happens next. David asked the engineer to sustain the old mans life and the engineer merely scoffed at said notion. The engineers (or at least one of them) died to create humans... There is no such thing as "paradise" or "heaven". The engineer was upset that their own creations could think such a power existed. The old dude died knowing that nothing was going to follow his death. *shrugs*

There are subtle points made through out the flick to show that particular thesis. Its really not about life... But death.

Prometheus got me downloading all the alien movies....up to part 3 now

Alien 3 is underrated. David Fincher directed it (he directed fight club, seven and a bunch of other good flicks). It went through production hell but it still is a good movie, I recommend making sure you get the directors cut of the movie.

seems like its gonna be similar to the first Alien film in the sense that its more dialogue than action tho
