I thought all the questions were answered?
The actual first scene doesn't make any sense to me. Engineer created man to bomb the planet thousands of years later? Or was the Engineer was casted out and sentenced to die?

The only question remains is why they wanted to kill us. Some hints are tossed around in the film but nothing concrete
It was written by Damon Lindelof, the co-creator of "Lost".at people piecing together the nonsense like
"now it's all been explained". No, the shyt makes no sense and you're forcing yourself to rationalize why it does. The exact same thing happened when "Lost" ended. I dunno how this dude keeps getting work.
Fred.
Did you not listen to the things Holloway was saying to David? Plus David wanted to test the goo and Holloway was an easy guina pig definitely after he (holloway )said something like "he was willing to do anything" seconds before David spike his drink.
Still dope

That is what I love so much about this movie (and apparently the reason some people hate or is confused by it) I pay attention to people's body language and what and how they say things anyway so I didn't have a problem following this movie. Also it adds to the replay value.I see what you're saying but that takes a lot of paying attention for something that isn't well explained.
Holloway was disappointed because he wanted to actually meet and talk to the engineers (one reason why Shaw is on a suicide mission to speak with them). David didn't know exactly what the goo was or did we found out with him. You mean aliens as in xenomorphs or engineers? Either way, he didn't know much vital information.During that moment I was trying to figure out why Holloway was depressed despite the fact that they had found an alien civilization. It's also confusing as David apparently knew information about the goo and the aliens. Or was he just doing everything on a hunch (which is a lazy reason but it probably is the real reason).
I'm not disagreeing with you at all, but you asking if I was paying attention and yeah I was but the movie doesn't clearly link/explain things as well as it could have.
