I hated the Rams, always have for obvious reasons but this to me was one of the last great all-time teams. You can debate some others but this was balanced and before the changes. Everyone can throw over 4000 yards now or throw close to 40 TDs but this was legit. This was before the Patriots embarrassed Peyton Manning up in Foxboro and the NFL changed the rules around. Green goes down with injury, in comes Kurt Warner who was out of the Arena league but deadly accurate.

They have maybe the greatest all-around running back Marshall Faulk RUNNING for 1300 yards and 7 TDs and RECEIVING for another 1000 yards and 5 more TDs. :wow: :whew:

Isaac Bruce, Tory **** and Az Hakim :wow:

And the defense wasn't bad either. Ranked 4th in points allowed and 6th in yardage.

I wanted McNair to pull it off :mjcry:

Tomlinson >>> Faulk

Being a huge fan of both, and witnessing all of Ladainians prime, I have to wholeheartedly disagree.

Don't get me wrong, Ladainian was amazing, phenomenal an all-time great, but

Marshall was so fluid and elegant in his moves and he could hit the holes at a lightning quick speed. He could go outside then inside then outside again with no effort, and he had some powerful legs for his height. He had the most graceful hands I've ever seen from a back (Ladainian was no chump either) and he was so intelligent and did so many other little things besides run and catch.

Tomlinson >>> Faulk
Depends on what offense your running. Tomlinson was better between the tackles, but Faulk was a unique receiving threat. LT was a very good receiver as well, but he wasn't as deadly as Faulk. Faulk could catch a wheel route and take it to the house like nothing.
