They're playing Rivers, Manning, and Brady over the next 3 weeks, with the SAME offense and defense Geno has. This isn't Madden where everyone's attributes get boosted 2 points because of who the QB is. Also, the issue hasn't been moving the ball between the 20's It's about what happens when they get there.

:dahell: :what:
yo tre -if u don't like vick just say it !

moving the ball was the reason YALL lost today
1st drive (14plays 61yrds =feild goal)
2nd drive (3 & out 7yrds =punt)
3rd drive (3 & out -1yd. =punt)
4th drive (3 & out 9yrds. =punt)
5th drive (3 & out -12yrds. =punt)
6th drive (3 & out 2yrds. =punt)
7th drive (4plays 17yrds =halftime)

he shoulda never been drafted by us.

but you know the drill: can't rebuild in NY, gotta keep the stands filled.

MetLife was half empty.

What's gonna drive us nuts is that Idzik will replace Rex with someone from the Seahawks and we're automatically gonna believe it's a great hire

Idzik been part of the problem too, that's why to point at Geno, who clearly is struggling, but to make him the reason and fall guy is stupid.

And bringing in bum ass old Vick of all people?

If anyone should lose their job first it's Rex, he's been skating on bullshyt for 3 seasons.

The Jets' defense isn't that good. The Jets' D can't ever force a turnover, they give up critical 3rd down plays, and their secondary and linebackers (outside of Davis) get burned plenty. They stop the run. That's about it.

Dudes hat to admit this shyt, my boys were tryna tell me how the Jets had a good front 7 last weekend.

I was like are you stupid, they got a good d-line and Demario Davis, that's about it.

Geno leads the league in turnovers already, he needs to be benched if he keeps making the same mistakes and he has been.

You think a coach like Parcells would've stuck with Geno? Hell nah

Geno is trash. He shouldn't be a starting QB in this league right now. It's baptism by fire...maybe he learns as he goes and becomes decent. Niccas wanting Vick to replace him though...I've always loved Mike, but Vick is COLLECTING A CHECK. Homie is completely content with remaining in the background and "mentoring" Geno...aka collecting a check. He's a shell of himself...even the Philly Vick is gone. The fire to compete and be great is gone. Vick is chilling, and if Rex threw him in there shyt would look uglier than the ugliest moments Geno has had thus far.

geno

a pick 6 & a pick in his own end zone
Because Vick was so great at holdin it down in the Red Zone in recent years right?

This ain't about Vick. It's deeper than that. It's about being realistic. We're not winning a Superbowl with Vick. We're not making the playoffs as it stands with whoever you wanna put out there. It's not gonna make these receivers better or more effective. It's not gonna make Quinton Coples a linebacker and it's not gonna make the secondary look good. So besides, pretty much ending Geno's tenure here, what are you gaining by trotting out Michael Vick every week? Look at it like this: if Geno keeps playing like this, the organization cleans house and they draft yet another QB next year. With Vick we get, what? The opportunity to relive your childhood one last time?

Just finished watching the game. Can't say Geno made many mistakes outside of the ball sailing on that int.

These Jets receivers get zero separation other than Decker whose hands are looking suspect.

No one can save this team

He's the black Mark Sanchez every few games he plays well and makes you think he's got potential but he's just not an accurate qb

And I like Geno because I feel he got the heart and the leadership Mark never had, but it seems like this is the case more and more.

Even though Geno's flashes>Sanchez's flashes.

I think bottom line you really can't develop as a QB in this league when your HC knows nothing about offense and cares even less

So then who deserves the blame? What changes need to be made?

This. I have this same argument with my brother at least once every week. He seems to think its like madden when if you plug Vick in everything changes. I'm glad not all New Yorkers are totally delusional like that. Guy thought the Knicks could've beaten the heat in the 2013 and 2014 playoffs, and thinks that minus geno, the jets are super bowl ready. I'm sorry, but with their linebackers, corners, and receiver set, that isn't the case. The only way to get there is develop what's already there. To bail on a young qb with potential for a 34 year old injury prone qb only sets a team back by a few years. Rex might not be an offensive savant, but he knows well enough to know this.

It's weird, but I hate the make up of this team number one. We don't know how to draft worth shyt.

It's crazy, because it honestly seems like a complete overhaul is needed.

Problems start at the very top. WOODY. Hires the same inept people, Idzik looking no better than Tannenbaum and the dysfunction is all over the organization.
