DC is putting up $1.1 billion. Of course, DC will probably end up putting up more down the road due to tax breaks and other things that entail renovating the area around the stadium.
I drive by the stadium on my way to work and I’ve been seeing the demolition the last couple months. Surreal to see.

I honesly thoughf the era of subsidizing stadiums was over but maybe that's not the case.
