never heard about that until he got fired from espn. not saying its wasn't ultimately true, but before that it was what every journalist that moved from fish paper to multimedia was saying, he had "moved on, evolved with the times." I personally hadn't heard anything but good things about rob parker, up until that point. and outta the pool of nikkas tryna get on espn, I don't buy he was some shythead to land that gig.
he got fired for asking "Do you wish your daughter had married a different coordinator?"
He is a buffoon and it showed on ESPN with most of his takes. I have no idea how/why people are riding with dude, when he was derided on SOHH ever since he got on ESPN.
He's responding to someone criticizing him for wearing a fukking sleeve. Heisman trophy winner, 2nd pick in the draft, starting QB in the NFL and he's responding to someone who has a problem with him wearing a sleeve? Who gives a shyt man, he's trying to change someone's mind when he should just laugh it off because it's so god damn stupid.
No matter what he does or says, people are gonna hate and like I said, the sooner he realizes that the better.
a) he wasnt criticized for it. He was answering a question. b) if someone did ask him that, what kind of fukk boy question is that? c) all those plaudits and yet he is a person like you and me. c) he wasnt trying to change anyones mind. He answered a question. Its his thing
And of course people gonna hate. People will hate on dude for saying "have a good day." He became polarizing by idiots.
nothing technically wrong, but given this guy's press over the year, sometimes you just need to shut up. you don't say shyt, its way less material to use. first two dudes he mention in this shyt are dudes we heard about issues with towards the end of the season. nah, don't use me to humanize and humble yourself now. just shut up, dogg. nobody care about that sleeve. you just wanted to talk.
but he didnt actually say anything wrong.
Its funny, fans want their athletes/public figures to be personal, approachable, close contact, among them except when they are that. When they are that, then its a problem. Maybe fans need to step back and look at themselves.
