People figured out that the group of people with a particular sensibility for these talking points are so unhinged and easy to weaponize and exploit for monetary gain and interactions - and haven’t stopped since.

Tyler Hansbrough was never an All Star, let alone as a rookie.
Comparing the WNBA to NBA makes no sense. They need stars and Angel is one of the them. She brings engagement and eyes. How long will it last? Who knows?

Clark can hoop but that foul she did on Reese was uncalled for.
One team is clearly better than the other. Caitlin got drafted to a team with the reigning rookie of the year who was also the #1 pick (Aliyah Boston) and a player who averages 17ppg for her career in Kelsey Mitchell. Then this year, they further built the team by adding a couple of all stars and upgrading their coach.
Angel got drafted to a team that returned only 3 players from the previous season where they were an 8 seed. Angel was also the 7th pick. Cardoso was the 3rd pick and she’s been underwhelming. Then this season they had the 3rd pick but traded it away for Ariel Atkins (who’s an OK player). Then they signed a bunch of veterans who are past their prime. Angel had a bad game yesterday (12 and 17) and was STILL the clear best player on the Sky.
