He didn't say rg3 didn't know he was black. He's saying rg3 is probably waking up to how the media will seek to destroy you if you're black because its an easy target for hits and views and white America in general don't have a very high opinion of blacks. He's understanding what that means.
Hating on a black celebrity is a HUGE money making business. Celebrating white celebrity is a HUGE money making business.
Rg3 thought he could win over the media with corny charm and unearned confidence. He's now realizing it don't work that way when your complexion is the shade of his.
Rooting for him big time but him throwing his teammates under the bus was colossal dumb. He needs to be smarter.
What is your mind makes you think he didn't know ALLLLL of this shyt before? You think he ain't catch hell in Texas the same way for having a white gf? Or that his personality isn't genuine? From all accounts he's always been a goofy ass dude that's also cocky as hell. What is it in your head that him being anything other than militant means he's "winning over the media with corny charm"? Didn't he just build Baylor football from Boise St levels? Didn't he just win the Heisman? Didn't he singlehandedly carry the Redskins into the playoffs his rookie year? All of that shyt sounds very worthy of him thinking his shyt don't stank. He earned a lot of the accolades given to him. ALL QB's are just as cocky as dude and some haven't accomplished nearly as much, but people go out of their way to kick Bob for it.
He deserves burn for this past week's press conference, but all of that black/corny shyt is stupid.
