I'm secretly rooting for his success. I know dude is young, and at first I thought it was mostly arrogance, until the Donovan situation

I agree about Donovan. How was the climate towards him for his safe ways? Were there folks on TV, locker rooms, and fans constantly calling him out OR was it a balance mixture of co-signers and critiques, which clouds/skew/stagnate the truth. So the next generation comes then wash, rinse and repeat

I believe the "safe" approach is not usually a random strategy that is implemented to address a situation. But instead it's an indirect learned behavior

breh, they will be clearing out their office before the trip to the Giants. They will be fired 7pm, after the last game of the season.

Of course a competent organization would have fired them last week but its the Redskins.

Are coli people sleeping on this story? I'm legit shocked by the whole situation, but specifically the Head Coach driving a smear campaign against the franchise QB is insane to me

This new leak comparing RG3's pop to Earl Woods is all the proof I need to believe that the Shanahan's are behind it. Thats a text book evil cac strategy... "remember that other black guy who we couldn't trust"

The Bleacher Report story alleged attitude problems on Griffin’s part, and described his father as meddlesome.

Multiple sources denied the claim that Griffin had blown off the input of quarterbacks coach Matt LaFleur after the assistant pointed out sloppy footwork following an incomplete pass. Two said that LaFleur spends games in the coaches booth and that coaches reserve technique coaching for practices and not games.

Three people — speaking on condition of anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the situation — said that Griffin has always been receptive to LaFleur’s insight and that the two have a good relationship.

Robert Griffin Jr.’s close bond with his son has been well-documented, but two sources refuted the notion that the father had tried to meddle in the affairs of the team. The elder Griffin rarely comes to Redskins Park, and this season had only attended one day of training camp practice and none during the regular season.

As much I hate a c00n like RG3, he was set up with Grand Master Klansman Shanahan. Sorry @mastermind and @Mr swag it had to be you.

The entire organization is toxic at this point. These things have to be coming directly from Shanahan and the fact that Schefter breaks a lot of this only solidifies that since they are boys. I think the coli brethren are so set in their ways about hating RG3 that even when things like this arise its just ho-hum. Shanahan has set the trap to where RG3 will get labeled as a coach killer if he is fired and he will get his 7m. If he comes back he will have all the reason to bench RG3 if he ever struggles by playing Kirk here in mop up time and letting him shine. I had been giving RG3 a hard time for a long time about his antics and still think he could have handled some things better, but this mess has so many layers that it is hard to keep track of the lies.
