Obviously he was correct. But dudes want to pretend that the cornball brova's action were not partly due to a clear attempt to separate/distance himself from a "controversial" figure like McSwagg, to appease/be loyal to those summabeaches

this is the definition of a c00n..

turn away your black brothers, giving advice to help your career, to appease white coaches, who will fukk you over, and bench you, for another white qb, who was drafted 2 rounds later, and then wonder why black people turned their back on you............. brehs

why did he have to distance ANYTHING... the NSA is tapping your phones.. not the shanahans.. call the man, listen to what he has to say, believe it or don't believe it, and don't tell anyone it happened.

he couldn't have done that? imagine cousins getting a call from john Elway on some "let me tell you about the shanahans" and cousins being like "nah fukk you I'm good"

its obvious shannahan never wanted RGIII, shyt is a Jeff Fisher Vince Young situation

even if Cousins plays well in the last two games it still doesn't equal what RGIII did in the first season so that's why they will stick with him
cousins hasn't looked good against the better teams in the league the few teams he had a throw against them

RG3 was a rookie. How would it look for him to get into the league and already associate himself with someone with a bad history with his current coach? If McNabb has never been on the Redskins and never worked with Shanahan, I guarantee that Griffin would have listened to him and his advice.

And as for black people turning their backs on him, most of you did that anyway early on. And the reasons that most people give here keep changing so most of you don't even have a real reason for disliking him.

Yup. If he wouldve got with McNabb and then played the way he's been playing he would be getting called a coach killer and a cancer right now on ESPN. Why would you ally yourself with someone who is not on the roster against your head coach. How would that look...

And then the coach is doing him dirty now, so RG3 got nothing.

not me.

i really dont care. Well I will care if the Cowboys lose. I will go ham. (dont even play on watching the game)

I don't see how anyone could care anymore. I threw the towel in weeks ago. Im just tired of this shyt. I'll always be a fan but, ehh. We need to lose anyways, to get as good of later round picks as possible.

:lolbron: It would be a wonderful way to cap off our season by ending the cowgirls playoff hopes.I think the Cowboys have it worse, they actually have talent [offensively, but enough that they should have ran away with this division a while ago]. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if my team had the talent to get shyt done and still doesnt year after year

You must not have read a single bit of the post after that

I clearly said do it on the low. People talk every single second of every day of the week. Opposing coaches talk during the season. Opposing players talk all season. Etc etc etc

Why would anyone have to know they talked? Who said he had to associate himself publically. shyt I said he didn't even have to believe the man. Just listen ROOKIE, to a man who's been there and done it. Done more than you ever have and take notes

If you don't believe him fine... But when the hints started dropping and the connections started being made, then you'd know he was right and also have him to talk to again to help you deal

I don't give a fukk about dancing or a white wife. Ain't too many brothers not smashing a white girl or haven't. I thought it was completely corny to blow off mcnabb, have daddy all in the media, and bring attention to yourself with shirts and slick talk about when YOU gonna tell the coach to play you and what offense you'll be running.

What's all this "got with" "align" "rode with mcnabb" type talk

Mcnabb said he tried to get in contact with him to HAVE A CONVERSATION

If for some snitching ass reason, that convo was leaked to the press. All rg3 would have to do is come to his 18th press conference that day.... Or let his daddy say......

"Mcnabb is a vet and a great black qb. I want to talk to all the greats and learn from them so we talked for 5 minutes."

Y'all acting like mcnabb told this nikka to help him run for governor or something

Oh and watch espn. They already calling him a coach killer. They already was saying he was defying the coach and undermining the coach with the tweets about his injury, the press conferences, the documentaries, the telling of what offense he'll play, the telling of when he'd be playing, the dad coming out and questioning the coaches choice to leave him in, the tshirt fine................

I been saying it. He did this to himself. Name one other player of any league who acted like this and was praised for it

I agree RG3 should not have dismissed McNabb publicly or suggested that McNabb was a "not at all an idiot". That was a sucker move on Griff's part.

But the whole "let me just talk to you" thing is silly and it would be just another log on the "RG3 needs to shut up and stop trying to run things" fire. They weren't gonna talk about footwork or running the offense or anything RG3 needed to hear this year...they were talking about the coach. Period. That would not have helped a single thing and it would only be another piece of evidence used against him and his character...probably by you.

No. I wouldn't. I'm under the impression that nobody would have ever known it happened.

Rg3 could "uh huh" him to death and keep the words in his back pocket. So when the press leaks started going on he wouldn't be blindsided. When the benching came he wouldn't be blindsided.

I don't use anything against the kid. I saw him on the bench last game. Looks like someone killed his dog. He didn't think any of this would happen. He thought he was invincible. He put all his faith in this coach.

He got railroaded with no warning. And the only thing i keep saying is, he could have been warned but chose to ignore the warning. Then talk shyt about the person warning him. Then looking like a fool when that same person was 150% right.

Multiply that by the fact you are one of the few black qbs. And you ignored one of the even fewer, successful black qbs. And it comes off as a bad look.

But I'm done. I realize what y'all are saying. No matter what, it would have happened. My thinking is, if he never spoke, shanahan wouldn't even have started him week 1 and he'd be running the read option when he got back around week 4-5. With the warnings in his mind. And the team and fans behind his back
