WWE's official statement: “Subject matter this personal is only approved as a result of the strong advocacy of the talent themselves. Notwithstanding that, WWE is ultimately responsible for what airs in its programming.”

That was it.

I'd rather see a little bit of blood every so often and a few curse words than this crap.

Not really understanding all the clutched pearls about this... wrestling is supposed to pick the controversial and sensitive subjects, it's not high brow and heels aren't supposed to be PC (unless they're Right To Censor anyway :ehh:) ... it's supposed to hit below the belt so you feel the only fair response is a savage beating with a steel chair.... and whenever they go as low as they did with this, you know the face is going over spectacularly. Paige is set up to get absolutely brutalised on Sunday.:ooh:

I swear if you asked some of these TSC heads, they'd think Paige 'disrespecting' Charlotte's dead brother was worse than Sgt Slaughter flying the Iraqi flag whilst the countrymen who'd idolised him as a patriot in the past were fighting and dying in an actual war in Iraq. :why:

It's just heat. Sweet, sugary, bargain basement HEAT.

And let's face it... major heat has been missing from wrestling for a minute. If the women can bring some back then more power to them. Sasha stealing headbands was just the start.:ohlawd:

Uncertain grounds
I remember HHH saying Flair was old and needed to retire in 1998

yeah man. i never for one moment thought that hhh liked flair on much of a personal level. im sure he legit admires and respects ric's resume and skills quite a great deal...but otherwise looks at him like a court jester that was a cornball for getting bytched out so many times at wcw by the kliq, steiner and more. hhh is a power hungry narcissist that succeeded ultimately whereas ric was unable to keep the power that he had at his peak and was largely chipped away at by his friends and himself.

I like it. it was a bit low, but lets be reality, this is pro wrestling, there never has been much of a moral compass here, and much worse has been said. Also Charlotte is a grown person, who can and would have declined if she felt it wasn't right. This is what everyone wanted in women's wrestling, a legit feud based on heat, disdain between two characters, and legitimate emotion, not dumb shyt like a feud based on a Total Divas squabble. I like that it closed the show, and I'm honestly interested in checking the match out Sunday. Good way to build up a match that otherwise had a lackluster build. :ehh:
